Four years of programme activities in Latin America has come to an end

Last week saw the last Spanish speaking version of  SIPU and Sidas training programme ”Instituciones Democraticas y Democracia participativa”. It was held in San Jose, the capital of Costa Rica, where 25 participants from the Central American countries Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua last Friday received their diploma in a ceremony that ended a series of programmes that has been running in the Latin American territory for more than four years.

This final week of the programme held many different activities and workshops. One of these was a national seminar held in the Legislative Assemble with the theme “Central American Regional Integration and Democracy” -  this was attended by several local and international experts.
